We're excited to announce that Professor Mike Berners-Lee will be joining us at the Cool Farm Annual Meeting!

Mike is the founder and director  of Small World Consulting. He writes, researches, and consults on sustainability and responses to 21st century problems, and is well-known for his acclaimed books, including There is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years, and How Bad Are Bananas? The carbon footprint of everything.
A leading thinker on carbon metrics, climate change and sustainability, Mike shares his insights on the scale and urgency of the climate emergency we are facing. He takes a big picture perspective, advocating  the need for our farming and food systems to undergo systemic change, and giving his assessment of the points of greatest leverage. From both UK and global perspectives, he sheds light on the harmfulness of offsetting and greenwashing, and the imperative need for respect and truthfulness in our societal and governance systems.
