Â
Who can graduate?Â
If you have completed a Level 2, Level 3 or Level 5 qualification with Busy Bees in England or an SVQ Level 5 or Level 7 with Busy Bees in Scotland. You must still be employed by Busy Bees at the time of your graduation ceremony.
Why is the graduation only for current employees?Â
This is a company event which is paid for by Busy Bees, so we are offering this to our current colleagues to celebrate their success.Â
I would like to bring my children, is this possible?Â
Yes, absolutely! This is a family celebration of your hard work, so children are very welcome. If your child needs their own seat, then they will need their own ticket. If they are young enough to be on the lap of your guest then no need for a ticket but do let us know they are coming so we can expect them. Please send an email to: busybeessupport@clearwaterevents.co.uk
I am nervous about being on stage, so should I not attend?Â
Please don’t worry. This is an exciting but nervous time, and we understand that. We can arrange for you to see the ceremony space on the day of the event so you know where you will be sitting and what to expect.Â
You have worked hard on your qualification and nerves are understandable, so let us help you enjoy the celebrations.Â
Why do we only receive two guest tickets?Â
This is standard practice for a graduation celebration within any further education organisation. Additional tickets can be requested, and we will do our best to allocate these quickly and fairly. Please request these via the registration website.Â
Why do we need to pay for extra guest tickets?Â
Busy Bees are proud to offer this event to our colleagues and their guests however we do not have the budget to cover everyone for free. We ask for a contribution of £15.00 per additional guest ticket to cover some of the costs and ensure guests do join us for the event and the ticket allocation is not abused.Â
I would like to pay for my gown after payday, can I do this?Â
Yes of course. We understand that money matters which is why we are covering half of your gown cost. Please complete the registration just now so that we know you are able to join us and come back in on/after pay day to complete your gown order.Â
Do I have to book the photographer?Â
This is a special day, and we urge you to capture this with a photograph. You don’t need to book this, but should you choose on the day to have your photograph you may need to wait slightly longer while those who have booked have their photo taken.Â
There are plenty of places inside the beautiful venues to have photographs so don’t worry if you really don’t want a professional one. Just be sure to charge your phone so you can snap away!Â
Why do doors open at 11.30 am, but the ceremony not start until 1.30 pm?Â
It takes time to ensure everyone can collect their gown, enjoy photos and have a quick walk through before the doors to the ceremony space open for guests to take their seats. This time will fly by so please arrive promptly to avoid a stressful rush.Â
What will my guests do while I get my gown, etc.?Â
Guests are welcome to enjoy the venue while you collect your gown and have your photographs taken. Tea and coffee will be available and there is a bar for guests to buy something else to enjoy while you get ready for your graduation. Â
When is the next graduation?Â
If you are not sure if you will be able to finish your coursework in time, then please don’t worry. We anticipate our next graduations will be in 2026, so you won’t need to wait too long. Â
