Busy Bees Graduation Edinburgh

The Busy Bees Graduation in Edinburgh will take place on Saturday 4th October 2025 at the Assembly Rooms, George Street, Edinburgh.

We are proud to invite educators and their guests to our Busy Bees Graduation. This event is designed to recognise and celebrate the outstanding hard work and dedication of our colleagues who have completed their apprenticeship with Busy Bees, all while providing the Best Start in Life to children across Scotland.

This is a moment to be proud of—and we’re excited to celebrate it with you.

Attendees

Each graduate receives two complimentary guest tickets to the graduation event. Additional guest tickets can be purchased for £15.00 each, on a first come, first served basis.

While the Assembly Rooms is a spacious and elegant venue, demand is expected to be high—so please request your tickets as early as possible to help us accommodate everyone.

We recognise that reaching this milestone often means giving up time with family, which is why we warmly welcome guests of all ages. Whether they’re 1 month or 101 years old, your loved ones are invited to be part of your celebration. If a guest needs their own seat, please request a ticket. Small children who can sit on your lap don’t need a ticket—but do let us know to expect them.

Gowns

No graduation is complete without a gown. Busy Bees is pleased to support your celebration by subsidising the cost of your graduation gown. All graduates need to hire a gown to be able to particpate in the ceremony.

Photographs

A professional photographer will be at the Assembly Rooms to help capture the celebration. Whether it’s a classic portrait in your gown or candid moments with your guests, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to create lasting memories.

You can choose from the following high-quality print options, all delivered directly to your home:

  • 8x6 inch print in a presentation mount – £20.00

  • 10x8 inch print in a presentation mount – £21.50

  • 12x16 inch print mounted on 2mm board – £36.00

To order, simply select your preferred option on the registration form. You can also click here for more details. The Assembly Rooms offer beautiful backdrops inside and out, so arrive early to take full advantage of the photo opportunities.

Why Edinburgh?

Following the success of our inaugural event at the Assembly Rooms in 2022, we’re delighted to return to this stunning venue once again in 2025.

Situated in the heart of the city, the Assembly Rooms is ideally located with excellent rail, road, and tram connections—making it easy for colleagues to join us from across Scotland, including Aberdeen, Inverness, and the Borders.

The venue is also surrounded by a wide selection of restaurants and cafés, perfect for continuing your celebrations after the event. We recommend booking early if you’re planning to dine nearby, as the area is popular at weekends.

Event Timings

The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 1.30 pm. Please arrive from 11.30 am to collect your gown, have your photograph taken, and enjoy the build-up to the main event.

Guests are welcome to join you during this time. A bar will be available should they wish to relax while you prepare. The ceremony will conclude at 3.00 pm, followed by drinks and informal celebrations until 4.00 pm, when the event officially closes.

What You Need to Do

Please complete your registration, request any additional guest tickets, and provide your gown details. You can select your photography package now, or decide closer to the event.
