How to submit

Vasculitis research presentations for early researchers are welcomed for submission. This opportunity is ideal for those new to the field and looking to share their findings and insights. Each selected presentation will involve a 10-minute oral presentation followed by a discussion.

Abstracts should be submitted online only through the form below.

Please note:

  • The Abstract Submission form contains mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) that must be completed to proceed with your submission.

  • After submitting your abstract, you will receive an email confirmation. If you need to update or amend your abstract, please resubmit it through this form and email eventsupport@clearwaterevents.co.uk.

  • Notification of the acceptance of your paper will be sent no later than 1st November 2024. If you have not received an answer by then, please contact the conference committee.

Please remember that registration for the course is required regardless of abstract submission. If your abstract is accepted, you will be awarded a UKIVas bursary to cover the cost of the course.

Abstract Format

  • Abstracts must be typed in English.

  • The paper must be typed single-spaced using Arial 11-pitch type font.

  • Paper title should be typed in UPPER CASE BOLD letters.

  • Include the name(s) of author(s) on a new line. Use initials first and omit titles. The name of the presenting author should be underlined.

  • The name of the institution(s) should be included on a separate new line.

  • Ensure clarity in presentation: objectives, methods, results, and conclusions should be stated clearly and concisely. Include only a brief description of experimental procedures. Results must include data or statements related to findings. Exclude references. Authors are responsible for the content and quality of the abstract, as no editing will be done.

  • Abstract length should not exceed 250 words, excluding the title, authors, and affiliations.
