We're having a celebration to mark the occasion and we would love for you, your family, your friends, your colleagues to join us!
Swinford, a 22 MW wind farm started operating in 2012, powering around 16,500 homes annually for the past decade. To celebrate this milestone, we’ll be holding a fun filled day of activities, as well as opening the doors of the wind farm for tours and a chance to meet some of the team who run the wind farm. Alongside Eight parishes CIC, who run the wind farm’s community benefit fund, we’ll look back at some of the projects it has supported locally over the last ten years, as well as some fun facts about the wind farm and the electricity it produces. Local groups will also host stalls at the event to enjoy, as well as food and drink to enjoy through the day. We look forward to seeing you!
