Has been finalized

Be part of the Cool Farm Annual Event 2024

Cool Farm Annual Event 2024: Growing a Thriving World, will comprise a two-day summit designed to build a sense of collective impact throughout the Cool Farm community. With ample opportunities to build collaborative work streams and learn from leading sustainability experts, the event will also include workshops, panels and breakout sessions.

The main event is taking place on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th April* at Capital C, Amsterdam, the event will give attendees a chance to share challenges, co-create solutions and discuss the most pressing topics of the day from ‘Beyond carbon tunnel vision’ to 'Landscape level collaborations' to ‘Let’s talk about climate justice.’ These topics and more fit into the main theme for 2024: Growing a Thriving World.

Hundreds of purpose-driven individuals, change-makers and innovators came to our sold-out event in 2023, so this year we have grown in capacity with 180 tickets available with the aim to inspire you to act.

* Welcome drinks will take place on Monday 22nd April and some Council meetings will take place on Thursday 25th April.

Livewell: Choosing Sustainable Catering

At this years event Cool Farm are embracing the Livewell principles of the WWF-UK. These are:

  1. All food provided must be meat-free.

  2. At least half of main dishes must be vegan (i.e. they must not contain or be made using any animal products).

  3. The remainder must be ovo-lacto vegetarian (i.e. they may contain dairy and eggs).

  4. If requested, mains may contain seafood provided it meets the requirements under ‘responsible sourcing criteria’. In those instances, no more than one fifth of mains may contain seafood, with the remainder being vegan (at least 50%) and vegetarian. For example, of six sandwiches, one may include seafood, three will be vegan and two will be vegetarian.

  5. Whole and minimally processed foods are preferred. We will seek to use low fat non- sweetened dairy products, minimum butter, mayonnaise, salt and sugar and choose whole grains rather than refined grains.
