The Meeting will highlight a number of high calibre key speakers, a Presidential Lecture and a Public Lecture.
There will be a session by OATech and a session by the Versus Arthritis Versus Arthritis Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Therapies Centre (TE&RTC). There will also be a session by the BORS-BJR Travelling Fellows who have returned from a trip to North America in early 2023.
Prof Niamh Nowlan will be delivering the Presidential Lecture entitled “Developmental Musculoskeletal Biomechanics”. Professsor Fiona Gilbert will deliver the Public Lecture talking about how radiology is used to identify and treat musculoskeletal pathologies. Emma Vodden from the Bone & Joint Journal will be talking about the role of the journal in supporting orthopaedic research.
The AGM will be held on Tuesday 26 September where we are hoping to elect at least 2 Trustees as well as a BORS Secretary and BORS Treasurer.
