Zoi was diagnosed with GPA vasculitis in 2014 and has been an active advocate for the vasculitis community ever since. She joined Vasculitis UK in 2015, where she has served in various roles—from volunteer to trustee—and now holds the position of Director of Operations.

In addition to her work in the UK, Zoi contributes internationally as a board member of Vasculitis International and RAIRDA. Furthermore, she is an active member of the ERN RITA within EURORDIS, supporting collaboration and awareness across rare disease networks.
