Shouvik Dass is Consultant Rheumatologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He has been the Lead Clinician for Rheumatology at Leeds since 2015. 

He is also the NHS England National Specialty Advisor for Specialised Rheumatology and is the Chair of the Clinical Reference Group for the specialty at NHS England. 

His clinical and research interests are in difficult to treat connective tissue diseases (particularly vasculitis and SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis and the use of biologic drugs in these areas. He also leads on the Yorkshire region’s combined pregnancy and renal clinics.
