Dr Aarthi Mohan is a Consultant Obstetrician and is lead for Maternal Medicine at St Michael’s Hospital, University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. She currently runs a quaternary level maternal medicine service looking after women with pre-existing and newly diagnosed medical conditions in pregnancy including rheumatological disorders from the South West of England and South Wales. 

Dr Mohan graduated from Guys’ and St Thomas’ Hospital, London and completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London, as well obtaining a PhD from Imperial College, London. She has also trained in general and specialist medicine, obtaining MRCP (UK) as well as MRCOG.

She is Associate Editor of ‘The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist’ journal and has published widely in a number of medical journals. She has written a number of book chapters, and has been invited to be editor for the maternal medicine section of the Oxford Textbook of Medicine. Dr Mohan has spoken at both national and international conferences.
