Sarah has a clinical academic nursing role working to improve patient care and outcomes. She is passionate about the importance of person-centred care and has completed a PhD exploring patient information needs. She has wide experience working as a specialist nurse in multi-specialty and multidisciplinary clinics in both rheumatology and renal units caring for adults and young people with ANCA Vasculitis and other immune-mediated inflammatory conditions. Sarah is interested in developing a nurse network to support specialist and non-specialist nurses caring for people with ANCA Vasculitis and to undertake collaborative patient focused research. She is keen to support other nurses/AHPs interested in a clinical academic career.
