Meryl has specialized in hands for over 30 years, working in Liverpool, Nottinghamshire, Central London and Windsor. She has done extensive overseas work spanning 25 years in India and Malawi and is BAHT Global Partnership Committee chair.

Meryl currently works as an independent practitioner clinically and Medico legally as an expert witness.

She trained as an expert witness in 2002 and has worked on personal injury hand cases and NHS resolution cases acting for both the Claimant and the Defendant.

Meryl received the BAHT Hand Therapist of the year award in 2006 in recognition for her global work. In March 2005 she received a Lifetime achievement award from the International Federation of Societies of Hand Therapy (IFSHT)
