Emma is a Clinical Specialist Hand Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the assessment and rehabilitation of upper limb conditions. She began her hand therapy career at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London before relocating to the North West of England. She now works in Chester, managing a diverse caseload including plastic and orthopaedic trauma, elective surgery, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Emma previously served on the British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT) Committee although this is her first BAHT conference! She is currently completing an MSc in Advanced Practice (Hand Therapy) at the University of Essex, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning. Emma has a particular interest in clinical research and hopes to become more actively involved in this is the future.
