Anne has over 25 years experience in hand therapy. She trained as a Physiotherapist at UWE, Bristol and has stayed working in the South of the UK since then. She is a consultant therapist (in hand therapy) at Chelsea and Westminster hospital, London. She also works within the NHS in Oxford and runs a private practice in Oxford specialising in the management of upper limb and hand problems in the general public and more specifically in musicians and climbers. She has a particular interest in thoracic outlet syndrome and peripheral nerve problems. 

She has published a number of peer reviewed papers (as primary and secondary author) all relating to issues in hands, and has just recently taken a more in depth look at the management and outcomes following traumatic injury to the PIPJ. 

She is the Director of Education for BAHT and chairs the Education Sub-Committee, supporting hand therapists in their post graduate education to become accredited hand therapists, and those who wish to provide courses to educate the next generation of expert hand therapists.
