Fiona is a BAHT accredited hand therapist with extensive experience in both acute and long-term management of complex injury across the whole upper quadrant.

Having graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2005 from the University of Ulster, Fiona began her hand therapy career in the regional Plastic Surgery service at the Ulster Hospital, Northern Ireland. She progressed to lead the physiotherapy team within Plastic Surgery, and then obtained a dual competency hand therapist role, jointly setting up an award winning therapist-led post-op pathway.

Now working as Clinical Lead at Wessex Rehab, a specialist service for complex physical rehabilitation in Wiltshire, Fiona treats patients from across the South-central region. The service is renowned for a multi-disciplinary approach that includes Clinical Psychology and pain management specialists. Responsible for the clinical leadership and development of the whole of the Wessex Rehab service, Fiona continues to hold a substantial caseload of patients with complex presentations in the upper quadrant and provides expert therapy intervention to patients with severe burns, ortho-plastic injuries, polytrauma, spinal cord injury and complex hand injury.
